Is anyone else sick of the gutsy main character?

I can deal with Naruto because he evolves into a great ninja, but Ichigo is getting on my nerves with getting his kicked in every important fight and then letting the inner hollow take over. I really hope there are no more gutsy-sucky heros coming out soon.
