Can you put a turbocharger in a 1997-2006 jeep wrangler that has a 4 cylinder engine?

Me and my dad are looking for a jeep that we can rebuild and we cant find one that is in our price range and the condition we want that has a 6 cylinder engine. So we thought maybe if we could turbo the 4 cyl we could just get that instead, so can u do that? and does it work?
