What do YOU look for in a heroine?

I look for realism and vulnerability. The whole "I'm so tough and smart" thing angers me. There has got to be something that tears this girl down. Or she's just a Mary Sue. A girl can be a tom-boy. I don't mind. But she can't be so much of a tom-boy that it's impossible for her to be a girl.
