Will my bubbler smell after using it?

I have a pipe and after im smokin i put it in my room and theres no problem. it doesnt smell at all. but with my bubbler wont the water make it reak after using it? should i just empty the water every time i use it? i dont care if it smells up close, but will it make my whole room smell like bud and stinky water? lol if that makes any sense
