Honestly, it is always going to be hard ending things with someone that you've been in a relationship with as long as you two have. But what separates that from being in a long term relationship with someone who treats you well and someone who does not, is that you don't want to live your whole life with a regret that you couldn't get out of something that you know is bad. God gave us a brain for a reason, and whether you use it or not is your choice. Feelings that you have for him now will MOST CERTAINLY fade when you find a guy who goes out of his way to make you feel good and treats you just as you need to be treated. The saying "absence makes the heart grow fonder" may come to mind, but in truth, your heart doesn't know what it wants. All you know is a guy who is bad for you. These urges will p. If he isn't texting you, think about who YOU could be texting, and remember the night he ditched you for the club with his friends (he obviously sees his friends as more important than you, and there is something wrong with that) If he finds another girl, and he hasn't even treated you right for all of those years, then he will most likely not treat anyone else right. His life will be full of chaos and one-night stands. From what I understand, you deserve SO MUCH better. Have girls' night, hang out with your family, do anything and everything (except drugs! LOL) to keep your mind off of this worthless man.
